Autism in a child: scientists have identified a number of patterns

According to American doctors, there is a connection between autism and food allergies.

The scientists’ study lasted almost 20 years (from 1997 to 2016) and all this time they analyzed concomitant diseases of the respiratory system in children with autism. During this period, data were collected on almost 200,000 children, whose ages ranged from 3 to 17 years and who were diagnosed with autism.

As a result, it was possible to find out that food allergy was a companion of those children who had established autism and in the percentage ratio it amounted to 11.25% of cases, while in healthy children food allergy was found in only 4.25% of cases.

As for asthma, in the case of children with autism, it was found in 18.73%, although ordinary children are affected by it only in 12.08% of cases. A similar situation is with allergies, which is manifested cutaneous: 16.81% versus 9.84%.

According to experts, immunological disorders occur in the early stages and may have an impact on social connections since childhood and the development of brain activity. In addition, doctors have proved that changes in the intestinal microflora are the reason for the production of antibodies and contribute to the extreme functioning of immune responses, which causes disruption of both the brain and the nervous system.

As a result, experts noted that although they still can’t establish exactly what the relationship between allergies and autism is, what it is is definitely.

“We do not yet know what is primary in this case: food allergy or autism. Additional studies are required to determine this, ”they emphasized.

At the same time, another international group of scientists said they found a way to help detect autism by “diagnosing” the teeth of babies.

Experts studied the lost teeth of more than 200 pairs of twin children and compared them with the teeth of other children, who are their blood relatives and strangers.

Analyzing the features of metal compounds in teeth, they were able to determine with absolute accuracy who they belong to a baby with autism or a healthy child.

Scientists noted that even during embryonic development and the first days after the birth of the compound of copper and zinc are extremely important since they are responsible for the formation of its nervous system. And milk teeth can just testify to this. And just such a difference between healthy children and autistic people is obvious to specialists.

Scientists have already stated that their study is important because it can help diagnose autism almost immediately after birth and immediately begin rehabilitation, without waiting for a certain age, which is the basis for identifying the diagnosis.
