– Do not adjust the fallen nodes themselves – this can lead to their rupture and heavy bleeding!
– Do not use toilet paper – better cotton wool and subsequent washing with water.
– Do not sit for long on soft chairs, armchairs, sofas, especially covered with leather, they create a greenhouse effect in the buttocks, and this is not good for the disease, but a rubber underlay can do good.
– Do not visit too hot saunas and baths. Do not take hot baths.
– Do 2–3 times a day “anal” gymnastics. While standing, lying or sitting in an aeroplane, train, car, squeeze your buttocks 20 to 25 times, and then relax. Or lying on your back, reproduce the movement of the legs with scissors. To give relief to the veins of the perineum, resting, put a roller under your legs.
If conservative methods of treating haemorrhoids are exhausted, and it is progressing, then surgery with infrared coagulation, “brewing” the walls of dilated veins comes to the rescue. Widely used are methods such as stitching of vascular legs, ligation, the introduction of sclerosing substances into nodes, their open and closed removal.
At the moment, the most reliable method for the surgical treatment of haemorrhoids is circular excision in a limited area of the anus mucosa, while blocking the arteries supplying the hemorrhoidal nodes. The operation lasts up to 20 minutes, and the effect lasts for years.
